The Atlanta Transit Riders' Union is a grassroots organization of transit riders and their supporters. Unlike those attacking MARTA, our leaders and members use the system. We believe the people who ride transit every day should have a strong voice in decisions about MARTA and regional transit.
ATRU is a committee of Atlanta Jobs with Justice, a coalition of labor unions, community and faith-based organizations, student groups, and local activists. AJWJ supports workers' rights and people's struggles to create a just society. We are committed to building a movement that is fully inclusive, democratic, and welcoming to everyone.
